This trip will ensure that you don’t miss any of the most major destinations, including Marrakech, Fes, Rabat, and Meknes. Your guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s biggest fortified towns, begins after breakfast. You’ll walk through small alleyways filled with fresh fruit, spices, Berber carpets, and other Moroccan art.
You will see the Royal Palace, tanneries, and potters. A medina restaurant will serve lunch. Following lunch, the trip concludes and you return to your accommodation.
Following breakfast, climb the Middle Atlas Mountains. Crossing the Atlas Mountains and descending into the Sahara Desert will take most of the day.
Lunch will be at Midelt, known for its fossils and rocks, halfway. After the journey, a hot shower or swim in the Merzouga Kasbah’s pool (weather permitting) will be a joy. Kasbah dinner.
Following breakfast, you’ll ride camels back to Erfoud in 4x4s. Erfoud to the Todra Gorges behind the High Atlas Mountains.
The towering Todra Gorges will be your afternoon hike (600 feet high). River valleys create a scenic trip to Morocco’s southeast.Before crossing the High Atlas Mountains, you will stay in Dades.
You take the 1000 Kasbahs road to Ouarzazate after breakfast. You may visit the palm grove Kasbahs.
The Dades Gorges are a natural treasure worth seeing. After arriving in Ouarzazate, you may tour this southern town, best noted for its filmmaking. The hotel serves dinner.
Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital, in the morning. Proceed to Taroudant, a historic regional capital and the first capital of the Saadian dynasty, at the convergence of the Souss valley and High Atlas mountains. The “little Marrakech” offers a great perspective over southern Morocco.
Researchers may relax in the shadow of ochre walls and enjoy Moroccan life and Berber friendliness in Taroudant’s mild temperature all year round.
The attractive souks sell leather, iron, wood, painted wood, pottery, jewelry, and Berber money. Free afternoon.
Following breakfast, go to Agadir, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The crescent-shaped Agadir beach is broad and shallow.
After lunch in Agadir, we head north to Essaouira, a place with a strong feeling where you can explore Phoenician, Berber, Portuguese, Jewish, and French past in the well-preserved architecture, with its small alleyways, whitewashed buildings with blue paintwork, and charming fishing harbor reflecting the Portuguese character of 16th-century settlers.
Following breakfast, we drive to Marrakech through the gorgeous interior route through the Argan tree grove, where goats pick Argan fruits.
Visit an Argan oil cooperative managed by local women to discover how argan oil is manufactured, interact with the ladies, and buy handmade soap or “Amlou,” a traditional Moroccan jam. Marrakech follows. Hotel/Riad overnight.
